Job summary

Fluence Energy is seeking a Sr. Analyst, Global EHS to strengthen governance, data integrity, reporting, and decision-making across the enterprise. The role focuses on maintaining global EHS standards, audits, CAPAs, and strategic data initiatives to improve safety and compliance.

This position supports cross-functional teams, audits, and performance metrics in a global energy storage and software environment, with emphasis on data quality, analytics, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; preference for Environmental Health & Safety, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of EHS experience in field-based environments (construction, manufacturing, energy/oil & gas).
• Experience with EHS data management systems is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Experience in data management and analytics preferred.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Visio, Salesforce, SharePoint, and Learning Management Systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, roll out and maintain Global EHS standards.
• Support internal and external audits, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 audits
• Conduct site assessment and inspections
• Prepare and present data summaries and documentation for audit and compliance purposes
• Provide data and reporting support for internal audits and management reviews
• Prepare summaries and materials for internal audit presentations
• Partner with cross-functional teams on CAPAs and performance metrics
• Track CAPA progress and report on implementation status and outcomes
• Participate in incident investigations
• Contribute to strategic planning for project databases and EHS programs
• Serve as the system custodian for the EHS Data Management System and related platforms
• Analyse EHS databases to identify gaps, trends, and opportunities
• Develop strategies to improve data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
• Collect, evaluate, and manage project-level EHS data and support analytics tools
• Implement and maintain data collection protocols for comprehensive data capture
• Monitor industry trends and best practices in EHS data management
• Provide managers with regular reporting, metrics, and updates on data quality
• Develop and maintain automated reporting solutions to streamline data dissemination
• Support managers in identifying and evaluating EHS data analysis opportunities
• Align data management strategies with organizational and EHS goals
• Collaborate with EHS managers to support communication around evolving data requirements
