Job summary

Pace Labs seeks an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator to support lab and office operations. You will coordinate and review EHS programs, maintain records, support inspections and training, and ensure alignment with requirements and standards.

The role focuses on safety across testing, waste management, and regulatory compliance, with opportunities to enhance processes and collaborate with teams to protect people and the environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years in environmental health and safety or related field recommended.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide EHS support across testing, inspections, reporting, and program administration.
• Apply and explain EHS policies and practices to staff and management.
• Conduct inspections of waste containers and storage areas.
• Coordinate low-level radioactive shipments and radiation surveys as needed.
• Facilitate EHS training sessions for employees and leaders.
• Review logs, forms, documents, and databases for EHS records.
