Job summary

Pace Analytical Services, LLC is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator to support laboratory and office operations. You will coordinate environmental, health and safety programs, maintain records, support inspections and training, and help ensure compliance with applicable requirements and standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration, safety, and accuracy, with responsibilities spanning program administration, waste handling, and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in environmental health and safety or related field.
• Proficient with EHS policies, programs, and procedures.
• Experience with the testing, handling, and disposal of materials, waste, and other potentially hazardous items.

Responsibilities

• Provide EHS support across multiple areas of operations, including testing, inspections, reporting, program administration, and related activities.
• Apply and explain EHS policies, programs, and practices while assisting staff and management with intermediate to complex questions and needs.
• Conduct inspections of waste containers and waste storage areas, and coordinate the collection of waste containers.
• Support the laboratory's radioactive materials program by coordinating low-level radioactive shipments, opening radioactive materials, and conducting radiation surveys.
• Facilitate EHS training sessions and meetings for employees and leaders.
• Review, complete, and process logs, forms, documents, databases, and other EHS records and information.
