Job summary

Loenbro is seeking an EHS Coordinator II to lead safety initiatives at the Afton site. The role focuses on enforcing internal EHS policies and external regulatory requirements while supporting continuous improvement in workplace health and safety.

The position involves audits, training, and program implementation across operations, with collaboration among site leadership to minimize risks and protect employees in a heavy industrial setting.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification is required.
• Minimum 5 years in heavy industrial construction with at least 3 years in a safety role.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and applicable codes/regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to assess hazards and develop mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee EHS protocols at the designated site and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Conduct regular audits, provide training, and implement EHS programs to minimize risks and maintain a safe environment.
• Collaborate with departments and site leadership to safeguard the workforce and strengthen safety culture.
