Job summary

TerraPower in Everett, WA is seeking an EHS Coordinator to lead environmental, health, and safety programs across the site. You will ensure regulatory compliance, manage risk, and drive continuous improvement to protect worker health and safety.

You will implement site EHS programs, coordinate with operations and training teams, conduct inspections, lead incident investigations, and track performance metrics to advance TerraPower's safety goals in a high-hazard environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field.
• 7-10 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, production, lab, or service operations.
• Proven leadership and management capabilities with strong communication skills.
• CIH designation is highly recommended and can enhance prospects.

Responsibilities

• EHS program implementation and management aligned with company goals.
• Regulatory compliance with NRC, OSHA, EPA, and local regulations.
• Risk assessment, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• EHS training programs for employees and managers are developed and delivered.
• Track EHS performance metrics and drive annual improvement plans.
• Provide EHS leadership to site employees and management.
• Collaborate with operations and training teams to ensure program success.
• Hazard identification, exposure assessment, and control implementation.
