Role Purpose: Manages the plant environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure a safe and incident-free work environment. Partners with the Plant Senior Leadership Team to establish direction and policy for the entire operation, acting as a Change Agent and managing continuous improvement initiatives across all departments and levels within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all aspects of plant environmental, health, and safety compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Promote safe acts among employees and lead safety performance improvements.
• Champion the Safety Committee process and foster employee-driven safety initiatives.
• Analyze safety data to identify trends and develop prevention strategies.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in an Environmental Health Safety role.
• Understanding of SQF and other food safety policies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related fields preferred.

Additional Details:

• Location: Mountville, PA.
• Onsite role with some travel and occasional weekend work.
• Salary: $62,000-$74,000, plus benefits.
