Job summary

Schaeffler is a dynamic global technology company seeking an EHS Assistant to support compliance, certifications, and audit processes in a professional environment. The role focuses on preparing documentation, data analysis, and coordination with authorities to ensure regulatory adherence.

Ideal candidates will have a BS in Environmental or Safety fields, knowledge of regulations, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • BS Degree in Environmental, Safety or related field or applicable work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Possess knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
  • Proficient knowledge and use of standard Windows programs (Word, Excel, Access).
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Organized, motivated and dependable individual.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Export Control compliance requires a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare EHS related statistics, diagrams, slides etc., to support dedicated Managers or Professionals.
  • Collect, select, classify and check information for completeness and given criteria and provide respective information in case of external audits.
  • Prepare all information and materials necessary to gain certifications and communicate in this respect with authorities and external certification bodies.
  • Proceed with all day-to-day EHS related assistant operations.
