Job summary

Tyler Coupling, located in Marshfield, Missouri, seeks an EHS Specialist to maintain operations in compliance with federal and state environmental laws. You will ensure alignment with corporate programs and plant procedures while supporting safety and environmental initiatives.

The role includes inspecting and auditing, data entry in EHS systems, and delivering safety trainings to employees, including new-hire onboarding. Travel for seminars and education is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in industrial safety or related field.
• Minimum of two years health/safety work or related experience.
• Must be diligent and self-motivated; possess good written and spoken communication.
• Able to contribute to a positive work environment and demonstrate analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and other programs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly inspection forms in accordance with company standards.
• Participate in site investigations and internal audits; prepare reports and facilitate compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Enter data for EHS software (e.g., SharePoint, Cority) regularly.
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations and conduct safety training, including New Hire Training.
• Assist in writing JSA and LOTO procedures; support safety program development.
• Assist HS Manager with incident investigations, audits, and corporate communications.
• Encourage safe practices and continual improvement through employee involvement and cascading goals.
