Job summary

Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling in California is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead programs across manufacturing and distribution. You will partner with facility leadership to build capability, reduce risk, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement in EHS performance.

Responsibilities include leading audits, developing training, managing regulatory programs (OSHA, EPA, DOT, RCRA), and supporting emergency preparedness. Travel up to 5% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Risk Management, Environmental or related field with 6+ years of related experience, or a high school diploma with 9+ years of related experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of local, state or federal environmental, health and safety regulations including how to access and evaluate resources, i.e., regulatory agencies, consulting firms, web-based information, etc.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Travel up to 5%.
• This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs to ensure regulatory compliance, reduce risk, and foster a strong safety culture.
• Serve as the facility EHS subject matter expert, providing leadership and guidance on compliance, environmental management, risk assessment, and injury prevention initiatives.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and assessments to identify gaps, implement corrective actions, and verify program effectiveness.
• Manage environmental compliance programs and support adherence to OSHA, EPA, DOT, RCRA, and other applicable regulations.
• Analyze EHS performance metrics, develop action plans, and drive continuous improvement through data-driven decision making.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs while partnering with site leadership, legal, and regulatory agencies on compliance and business initiatives.
• Lead emergency preparedness, crisis management, incident response, and workers' compensation support activities.
• Other projects or duties as assigned.
