Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling in Downey, CA seeks an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead and oversee health, safety, and environmental programs across manufacturing and distribution. You will partner with facility leadership to build capability, reduce risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous EHS improvement.

You will manage audits, training, incident response, and regulatory reporting while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Risk Management, Environmental or related field with 6+ years in safety/risk/environmental.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to translate complex technical information for non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of local, state or federal EHS regulations and how to access resources.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Travel up to 5%.
• Post-offer background and drug test required.

Responsabilités

• Lead and continuously improve EHS programs to ensure regulatory compliance, reduce risk, and foster a strong safety culture.
• Serve as the facility EHS subject matter expert, guiding on compliance, risk assessment, and injury prevention initiatives.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and assessments to identify gaps and verify program effectiveness.
• Manage environmental compliance programs and support adherence to OSHA, EPA, DOT, RCRA, and other regulations.
• Analyze EHS performance metrics, develop action plans, and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and deliver EHS training with site leadership and regulators on compliance and business initiatives.
• Lead emergency preparedness, crisis management, incident response, and workers’ compensation support.
