Job summary

Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling in Downey, CA seeks an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead our health, safety, and environmental programs across manufacturing and distribution sites. You will partner with facility leadership to build capability, reduce risk, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Risk Management, Environmental or related field plus 6+ years in safety, risk management, and/or environmental work.
• Alternate option: High School Diploma with 9+ years of safety/risk/environmental experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate complex information to non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of environmental, health and safety regs (local, state, federal).

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve EHS programs to ensure compliance and reduce risk.
• Serve as facility EHS subject matter expert on compliance, risk assessment, injury prevention initiatives.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and assessments; implement corrective actions.
• Manage environmental compliance programs and OSHA/EPA/DOT/RCRA reporting.
• Develop action plans and drive data-driven improvements.
• Lead EHS training with site leadership and regulators.
• Oversee emergency preparedness and incident response.
• Support workers' compensation activities.
