Job summary

Calgon Carbon | A Kuraray Company is seeking an Environmental Professional III at the Neville Island Plant in Pittsburgh. This hands-on leadership role supports EHS programs across sites, ensuring compliance, data integrity, and ongoing improvements in safety and environmental performance.

You will conduct PFAS risk assessments, oversee regulatory reporting, train staff, and develop site policies with the Plant Manager and CCC/Chemviron Center of Excellence, driving an enhanced environmental

Qualifications

• Experience leading EHS programs and cross-site initiatives.
• Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance.
• Ability to train and guide line management on EHS topics.

Responsibilities

• Identify and champion initiatives to improve safety and environmental compliance.
• Conduct PFAS risk assessments and monitor control solutions.
• Oversee EHS program execution via inspections and audits.
• Coach and mentor line management on EHS topics.
• Oversee regulatory reporting and maintain compliance calendars.
• Manage waste programs and site permit compliance.
• Develop environmental strategy with Plant Manager and Center of Excellence.
• Monitor KPI and ensure accountability across the site.
