Job summary

Gables Engineering, Inc. seeks an EHS Administrator II to manage day-to-day EHS programs, maintain records, coordinate training, and support inspections.

The role collaborates with the EHS Specialist and supervisors to ensure OSHA, EPA, DOT, and local regulations are followed. Based in Coral Gables, FL, the position offers hands-on regulatory duties, incident follow-up, hazardous waste coordination, PPE management, and reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of EHS administration/coordination experience.
• OSHA 10-hour preferred; OSHA 30-hour preferred.
• Hazardous Waste Handler certification preferred (or to be obtained).

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain EHS records, including OSHA logs and permits.
• Coordinate EHS training, track attendance and certifications.
• Assist with inspections, incident follow-up, and corrective actions.
• Manage hazardous waste activities, PPE inventory, and paperwork.
• Prepare regulatory reports and support vendor/contractor coordination.
• Communicate EHS policies and updates to staff; maintain confidentiality.
