GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a strategic EHS leader to shape and execute the Lean-based EHS agenda for Wind. The role drives the Lean operating system, aligning governance, metrics, and continuous improvement across a global portfolio.

The successful candidate will back up the Wind EHS Leader, accelerate major initiatives, and lead a cross-functional Safety Governance Council to embed Safety through Lean within the Wind organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EHS, engineering or related technical discipline.
• Proven experience establishing and leading governance councils or operating mechanisms across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to align diverse teams around clear priorities and outcomes.
• Experience developing metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools to drive performance and decision-making.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing Lean Management Systems or operating mechanisms.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement a Lean Management System, including Hoshin-Kanri, daily management, and visual metrics, to embed EHS priorities in daily routines.
• Establish operating cadence by partnering with functional leaders to optimize monthly/quarterly rhythms and proactively identify risks to KPIs.
• Drive standard work across EHS processes to ensure repeatable, scalable, and safe operations.
• Lead senior leaders through the Hoshin Kanri process to set annual breakthroughs and translate them into measurable goals.
• Partner across Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Projects, Service, Lean, Quality, Compliance, and IT/Digital to remove barriers and accelerate results.
• Define and monitor KPIs and design dashboards for leadership reviews and decision-making.
• Coordinate major initiatives across functions and geographies to ensure milestones and outcomes are achieved.
• Apply Lean thinking and problem-solving methods (A3, 8D) to improve processes and outcomes.
• Build organizational capability as a coach and change agent for a culture of Safety through Lean.
