CVS Health’s Omnicare unit seeks an Environmental Health & Safety Associate Manager to lead programs across pharmacy, distribution, and operations. You’ll ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT, manage hazardous and pharmaceutical waste, and drive safety initiatives.

This role emphasizes incident investigations, CAPA, training delivery, and emergency preparedness, with 40 hours weekly and some travel.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of environmental, health, and safety experience in a regulated industry.
• 2+ years of experience working with OSHA and EPA.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time within the continental United States.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and state/local regs.
• Pharmaceutical & Hazardous Waste Management: Oversee hazardous/pharmaceutical waste and manifests.
• Environmental Programs: Manage spill prevention, contingency planning, emergency response and reporting.
• Safety & Risk Management: Conduct inspections, safety audits, and CAPA tracking.
• Training & Employee Engagement: Develop and deliver EHS training, ensure compliance training.
• Emergency Preparedness: Maintain response plans and coordinate preparedness activities.
