Job summary

CVS Health (Omnicare) is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Associate Manager to lead EHS programs across multiple sites, including pharmacy and distribution operations. You will ensure OSHA/EPA compliance, manage hazardous and pharmaceutical waste, and drive continuous improvement with site leadership. Travel up to 25% is expected in a hybrid role based in the USA.

The position requires 3–5 years in a regulated EHS environment, strong regulatory knowledge, and a proactive safety mindset.

Qualifications

3-5 years of environmental, health, and safety experience in a regulated industry, including experience with environmental compliance, waste management, regulatory reporting, audits, and/or investigations.
2+ years of experience working with OSHA and EPA.
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time within the continental United States.

Responsibilities

Lead environmental, health, safety, and regulatory compliance programs across pharmacy, repackaging, distribution, and corporate operations.
Serve as SME for environmental compliance, hazardous and pharmaceutical waste management, occupational safety, emergency preparedness, and regulatory reporting.
Partner with site leadership and operational teams to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while fostering a culture of safety.
Develop and implement environmental sustainability and waste-reduction initiatives.
