Job summary

CVS Health in Kentucky is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Associate Manager to lead environmental, health and safety programs across pharmacy, distribution, and corporate operations. You will partner with site leadership to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT and local regulations while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

The role includes managing waste programs, incident investigations, training, emergency preparedness, and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of environmental, health, and safety experience in a regulated industry.
• 2+ years of experience working with OSHA and EPA.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time within the continental United States.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT and applicable state and local regulations.
• Oversee hazardous waste, pharmaceutical waste, controlled substance waste, regulated medical waste, and sharps management programs.
• Manage environmental compliance programs including spill prevention, contingency planning, emergency response, and environmental reporting.
• Lead incident, injury, near miss, spill, and environmental release investigations.
