Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks an experienced EHS leader to develop and implement safety and environmental health solutions for its assets in the Dallas–Fort Worth region. The role partners with operations to deliver site-specific annual EHS plans and ensures standardized programs across facilities.

You will provide regulatory expertise, lead hazard assessments, analyze metrics, and support business continuity and resilience initiatives, while fostering a diverse, collaborative work culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; advanced degree or professional certs preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in EHS or related field.
• Strong knowledge of EHS Management Systems and successful implementation.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations; workers’ compensation.
• Ability to engage with government officials, consultants and third parties.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS solutions for Cardinal Health assets in the DFW area.
• Lead the execution of the global EHS strategy to mitigate risk to people, property, and environment.
• Partner with operations leadership to create site-specific annual EHS plans.
• Standardize EHS programs and communicate critical information.
• Provide SME support for regulatory inquiries, incidents and business continuity.
