Job summary

Cardinal Health in the Dallas–Fort Worth area seeks an Environmental Health & Safety Advisor to develop and implement EHS solutions for assets in the DFW region. The role focuses on mitigating risks to employees, facilities, and surrounding communities through strategic planning and strong regulatory compliance.

The position emphasizes collaboration with operations leaders, risk assessments, and the development of business continuity and resiliency measures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Advanced degree and/or professional certification preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in related field.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
• Collaborative leadership skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Leads with the global EHS strategy to mitigate risk to people and property.
• Partners with operation leaders to develop site-specific EHS plans and standardize programs.
• Provide technical support and guidance on risk-related matters (ergonomics, industrial hygiene, safety, environmental).
• Investigates incidents and supports regulatory inquiries and reporting obligations.
• Educates and coaches management on EHS roles and responsibilities.
