Job summary

Cardinal Health’s Dallas–Fort Worth Environment, Health and Safety Advisor will report to the DFW Area EHS Manager. This role develops and implements EHS solutions to protect employees, facilities, and surrounding communities, mitigate risks, and support regulatory compliance across the DFW region.

The position emphasizes leadership, hazard assessment, incident investigation, and continuous improvement, with up to 20% travel to sites and strong collaboration with operations and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Advanced degree and/or professional certification (CSP, CIH, CHMM, etc.) preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in related field
• Understanding and experience in EHS Management Systems and their successful implementation
• Strong knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations and guidelines
• Willingness to travel up to 20%
• Collaborative leadership and strong communication skills
• Self-directed with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements EHS solutions to mitigate risk for employees, facilities, and communities.

• Supports incident investigations and business resiliency planning.
• Educates and coaches management on EHS roles and responsibilities.
