Job summary

Caris Life Sciences seeks a Manager, Environmental, Health, & Safety to lead the company's safety programs across sites in Dallas, TX. You will develop policies, train staff, and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulations to protect employees and assets.

You will oversee incident investigations, risk assessments, and safety training while coordinating with leadership to improve safety performance and incident prevention in a fast-paced life sciences environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science/Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Public Health, Health Science, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Management, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Chemistry or equivalent.
• 5–10 years EHS compliance experience including hazard communications, hazardous waste, bloodborne pathogens, and chemical hygiene.
• Knowledge of federal, state (Texas), and local EHS regulations and prevention techniques.
• Experience in Manufacturing or regulated Life Science industries.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to convey information to employees, managers, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage safety programs to protect employees and the company.
• Train employees on safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Ensure records are maintained per guidelines and verify regulatory compliance.
• Oversee audits and inspections by OSHA, EPA, and others, and prepare required documents.
• Develop and implement programs to reduce injuries and losses in workers’ comp and liabilities.
• Conduct incident and injury investigations and regulatory reporting.
