Job description

Carex is partnering with a rapidly growing behavioral health technology company to hire EHR Trainers to support customer implementations and adoption of its platform.

These are hands‑on, customer‑facing roles for individuals who are comfortable leading live training sessions across intake, admissions, clinical, and revenue cycle workflows. The team is especially interested in trainers with experience supporting RCM workflows, including billing, claims, eligibility, denials, and related financial processes.

You’ll help healthcare organizations successfully adopt the platform by translating system functionality into practical, day‑to‑day workflows for frontline users, administrators, billing teams, and operational leaders.

This role is hybrid in New York City, with periodic travel to customer sites as needed.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead virtual and in‑person EHR training sessions for customer teams
  • Train users across intake, admissions, clinical, administrative, and revenue cycle workflows
  • Deliver role‑based training for frontline staff, clinicians, billing teams, super users, administrators, and operational leaders
  • Support training around billing, claims, eligibility, denials, payments, and other RCM workflows when applicable
  • Help users understand both platform functionality and how the technology fits into their day‑to‑day responsibilities
  • Partner closely with Implementation and Deployment teams to prepare customers for go‑live
  • Support training readiness, go‑live, and post‑launch adoption activities
  • Identify knowledge gaps and provide additional coaching or reinforcement as needed
  • Develop and improve training materials, documentation, job aids, and other enablement resources
  • Gather feedback from customers and frontline users to help improve training programs and the overall implementation experience
  • Become a subject matter expert on the platform and continuously learn new functionality as the product evolves
What You’ll Bring
  • Experience training users on an EHR, practice management platform, healthcare technology system, or other complex workflow‑driven software
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to confidently lead both small‑and large‑group training sessions
  • Understanding of healthcare workflows across areas such as intake, admissions, clinical operations, billing, or revenue cycle
  • Ability to explain complex systems and workflows in a clear, practical, and approachable way
  • Comfort working directly with healthcare professionals and users with varying levels of technical experience
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple training priorities
  • Ability to adapt training based on different audiences, workflows, and customer needs
  • Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, growing environment where processes and training programs are still being built
  • Willingness to travel periodically to support customer implementations and go‑lives
Nice to Have
  • Revenue cycle management experience strongly preferred, particularly with billing, claims, eligibility, denials, payment workflows, or EHR‑based RCM training
  • Experience with behavioral health organizations or behavioral health EHR platforms
  • Experience supporting EHR implementations, go‑lives, or system migrations
  • Experience developing training curriculum, job aids, or other learning materials
  • Experience training enterprise healthcare organizations with large or distributed user populations
