Zusammenfassung

The Centers is seeking an Electronic Health Record (EHR) Specialist to bridge clinical operations and IT. You will train staff, manage EHR access, and coordinate system changes to ensure reliable clinical workflows across multiple sites in Northeast Ohio.

Key duties include developing training materials, collaborating with vendors, and supporting staff through help desk activities while maintaining HIPAA compliance and strong organizational skills.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (or relevant work experience in lieu of a degree).
• Experience teaching adults in a clinical setting.
• Demonstrated electronic health record experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security standards.
• Familiarity with IT change control processes.
• Understanding of health services operations.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel between sites.

Aufgaben

• Provide role-based EHR access and training to new hires and transfers.
• Develop and update EHR training materials and manuals.
• Configure EHR settings and manage change control for enhancements.
• Collaborate with vendors (OCHIN and others) and IT to resolve issues.
• Analyze workflows and document clinical content for EHR optimization.
• Respond to internal Help Desk tickets and support staff until resolution.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
