Job summary

Community Health Action of Staten Island (CHASI) is seeking a Data & Quality Coordinator to join the DDQ team. The role focuses on data entry, tracking tools, and analysis of data across services, providing training and quality support to program staff.

You will administer CHASI’s AWARDS electronic health record, generate routine reports, supervise the Data & Quality Specialist, and help improve data processes to support funding and outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency required; college degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience managing data collection and databases for nonprofit or government funding sources.
• At least 1 year of supervisory and/or program/process management experience.
• Good communication, written and verbal; training facilitation experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office; Experience with EHRs and funder databases preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the DDQ department to maintain high level of data integrity across all agency data collection.
• Serve as the administrator for CHASI’s AWARDS EHR including account setup, termination, and data integrity review.
• Back-up administrator for creation and dissemination of extracts to funders and installation of updates in funder databases.
• Routinely train staff on internal and external database navigation.
• Prepare routine weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Maintain data logs to monitor process efficiency and identify improvement opportunities.
• Provide direct supervision to Data & Quality Specialist within DDQ and serve as point person for DDQ matters.
• Assist with data entry into funder databases as assigned.
• Perform all functions in alignment with CHASI’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values.
