Job summary

Community Health Action of Staten Island (CHASI) seeks a Data & Quality Coordinator to manage data entry, tracking tools, and analysis for services across departments. This role supports program staff and the DDQ team to ensure database access, task comprehension, and quality support.

The position requires experience with data collection and databases in nonprofit or government funding, plus supervisory experience. Strong communication, organization, and EHR familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• 2+ years managing data collection and databases for nonprofit or government funding.
• 1+ year supervisory and/or program/process management experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; training facilitation preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and funder databases preferred.
• Knowledge of social services and public health; CHASI programs knowledge preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced multi-department environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the DDQ department to maintain data integrity across all agency data collection.
• Administer CHASI’s AWARDS EHR including account setup, termination, and data integrity review.
• Back-up administrator for data extracts to funders and updates in funder databases.
• Routinely train staff on internal and external database navigation.
• Prepare routine weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Maintain data logs to monitor process efficiency and identify improvements.
• Provide supervision to Data & Quality Specialist within DDQ; be point of contact for DDQ matters.
• Assist with data entry into funder databases as assigned.
• Perform duties aligned with CHASI’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values.
• Other duties as assigned.
