Responsibilities

• Maintains training materials for the EHR and assists in training.
• Maintains workflow documentation and processes within the EHR system.
• Documents changes from vendor release notes impacting operations.
• Recommends EHR system and workflow changes to improve efficiency.
• Tracks and manages requested EHR changes from concept to implementation.
• Coordinates testing of changes with stakeholders and vendor.
• Coordinates EHR changes with superusers and agency leadership.
• Collaborates with EHR vendor application support staff.
• Acts as escalation point for EHR-related questions from trainers and management.
• Assists in planning new initiatives related to the EHR system.
• Responds to escalated EHR help desk tickets.
• Troubleshoots and documents EHR issues; coordinates with vendor for fixes.
• Attends to EHR interface errors and ensures accurate data transmission.
• Initiates and coordinates interface change requirements.
• Maintains change logs for interfaces and configurations.
• Develops and maintains role-based security profiles in the EHR system.
