Job summary

Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking an EH&S Technician for a long-term contract in Houston, TX. You will implement EH&S programs, observe operations, coach safe work practices, and support site safety objectives with the EH&S Manager.

The role emphasizes safety and industrial hygiene, audits, incident investigations, and continuous improvement across the site. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of EH&S or related experience required.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and EH&S principles.
• Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Implement day-to-day EH&S programs, work processes, standards, and procedures.
• Support safety and industrial hygiene activities to achieve site safety goals.
• Serve as a point of contact for safety, industrial hygiene, and environmental concerns.
• Coach employees and contractors on safe work practices and site safety requirements.
• Assist with developing and achieving department and site EH&S goals.
• Participate in safety-related project reviews and MOC reviews as needed.
• Assist with incident investigations and document findings and follow-up actions.
• Conduct EH&S audits and self-assessments and review permits.
• Verify isolation procedures and complete required self-assessments.
• Participate in department safety meetings and corporate EH&S audits.
