Job summary

Dow is seeking an EH&S Program Specialist in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, to develop and maintain safety programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in workplace safety.

You will lead risk assessments, provide guidance on EH&S policies, and support the Path2Zero initiative toward net-zero emissions, partnering with plant teams to embed safety and environmental excellence across operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of EH&S/OHS experience or related field.
• Canada: legal authorization to work; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Leads daily EH&S programs, implements safety standards and protocols.
• Ensures plant operations meet EH&S performance expectations using best practices.
• Provides guidance on EH&S policies for plant teams.
• Acts as primary contact for environmental, industrial hygiene, and health & safety inquiries.
• Supports and coaches employees on EH&S procedures and responsibilities.
• Contributes to EH&S goals and ensures timely compliance tasks.
• Performs environmental and industrial hygiene evaluations and reports findings.
