Job summary

Stryker in Durham, NC seeks an experienced EHS Leader to integrate EH&S with Manufacturing Engineering and Equipment Reliability, ensuring safe, compliant production operations and continuous improvement. You will drive risk identification, regulatory adherence, and environmental performance to protect staff, product quality, and the environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing, engineering, or EH&S.
• Minimum of 2 years direct EHS experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and sustainment of EHS programs to ensure regulatory compliance and safety.
• Manage site hazardous waste program with oversight of waste handling, manifests, records, and disposal.
• Conduct routine EHS inspections and audits, and verify corrective actions.
• Maintain required EHS records and regulatory reports; support incident investigations and near-miss reviews.
• Coordinate industrial hygiene monitoring, hazard communication, and emergency response programs.
