Job summary

DAP is seeking an EH&S Specialist to implement and maintain environmental, health, and safety programs at the Dallas Facility (75%) and Garland DC (25%). The role involves developing and communicating compliance directives, coordinating with Legal, HR and Operations, and assisting with safety audits and investigations.

The position requires coordinating program implementation, training materials, and reporting to meet OSHA, state regulations, and corporate directives.

Qualifications

• EHS degree preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental health & safety or similar field.
• 3–5 years’ experience.
• Computer software familiarity.
• Working knowledge of state and federal regulations.
• Experience in research skills.
• Certified Safety Professional preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and communicate compliance obligations and monitor regulatory developments.
• Act in a leadership role with plant personnel to fulfil health/safety compliance obligations.
• Ensure adherence to safety compliance obligations and directives.
• Conduct and manage incident analysis programs, evaluate trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain environmental reporting requirements and ensure timely reporting.
