Job summary

Amcor is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) professional to develop and administer facility EHS programs in line with regulatory requirements and corporate policies. You will drive accountability, integrate EHS initiatives with operations, and promote a high performance EHS culture across locations with fewer than 150 employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EHS, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 1 to 3 years manufacturing experience.
• Strong knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead or facilitate the site EHS safety committee.
• Serve as a member of the plant Leadership Team.
• Lead development, implementation and enhancement of the Amcor EHS Management System at the facility.
• Identifies and leverages EHS best practices and manages through the Safety and Environmental Pillars of WCOM.
• Lead EHS planning at the facility, including goals, priorities and performance reviews.
• Assist managers and employees with implementing safety and environmental initiatives.
• Conduct and coordinate EHS inspections and assessments for compliance and improvement.
