Job summary

Sierra Space, headquartered in Colorado, is seeking an EGSE Engineer III to lead advanced testing and validation of aerospace systems. You will design custom test systems, integrate DAQs and power supplies, and write software to support Dream Chaser testing through launch.

Qualifications

Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
Typically 5+ years of related experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.
Experience with requirements management, system design, and systems integration.
Experience planning, conducting, and documenting Verification and Validation (V&V) activities.
Ability to read schematics, manuals, and follow test procedures.

Responsibilities

Apply testing principles across dynamics, thermal, measurement, and software testing to solve problems.
Lead multi-disciplinary teams and guide less experienced engineers on testing solutions.
Represent Test Engineering in requirements management and system design.
Plan, conduct, and document Verification and Validation activities.
Read schematics, use manuals, follow test procedures, and troubleshoot issues.
Use testing equipment and methodologies to support validation efforts.
Document technical data, reports, and analyses to support decisions.
Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to teams and stakeholders.
