Job summary

Sierra Space seeks an Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) Engineer III to lead advanced testing and validation of aerospace systems. This role blends electrical, mechanical, and software skills to create custom test systems for power and communications testing, including Dream Chaser support.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in test engineering, a Bachelor's in a related field, and the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• RequiresBachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Typically 5+ years of related experience in test engineering.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
• Experience with requirements management, system design, and integration.
• Experience planning and conducting V&V activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced testing and validation of aerospace systems and components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and designs.
• Develop custom test systems to support power and communications testing.
• Document technical data, reports, and analyses for project decisions.
