Job summary

Airbus U.S. Space & Defense, Inc. seeks an Electrical Engineer II focused on EGSE to contribute across design, validation, and deployment of spacecraft test systems and verification environments.

You will collaborate with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and IT to ensure EGSE solutions meet operational needs, while developing test procedures and documenting changes for configuration control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related technical discipline.
• 3–6 years in electrical engineering, with a focus on test systems or EGSE preferred.
• Experience supporting hardware/software integration and validation in a space/aerospace environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system‑level technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy EGSE systems including hardware interfaces, power supplies, data buses, and communication links.
• Ensure EGSE systems meet program requirements, technical specifications, and quality standards.
• Assist in the development of test procedures, system configurations, and validation protocols.
