Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. in Gaylord, MN, is seeking a production operator for a 12-hour day shift (6:00am–6:00pm) to run computerized processes, manage CIP systems, and ensure sanitary, safe operation.

The role emphasizes food safety, quality, and teamwork within a dairy/egg production environment. Ideal candidates have 3–6 months related experience, strong reading/writing abilities, and the flexibility to work overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in high and confined spaces while following safety procedures.
• Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends when required.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish-English) is a plus.
• Dairy experience or pasteurization experience would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate computerized process systems and hook up silos.
• Perform CIP’s of silos and equipment; record time, temperature, pressure, and flow rates.
• Monitor CIP systems and ensure proper chemical concentrations.
• Coordinate with packaging lead for startup of the production line.
• Maintain sanitation and ensure food safety and quality.
• Prepare written reports and logs; maintain required records.
