Job summary

TNTP in Baltimore is seeking an Effectiveness Coach to support and develop BCTR Residents and BCPS paraeducators. You will help unlock their potential through curriculum design and instruction-centered professional development, focusing on multilingual learners and students who receive special education services.

This grant-funded role travels up to 40 percent and is tied to the Baltimore partnership, with opportunities to shape coaching strategy and collaborate with principals, City Schools

Qualifications

• Three+ years of teaching experience.
• Experience developing and coaching teachers.
• Proven track record of building trusting relationships.
• Experience with deeper learning, school design, and project-based learning.
• Experience designing and facilitating professional development for teachers.
• Experience supporting multilingual learners or students in special education (preferred).
• Creative problem-solving and capacity to develop new initiatives.
• Ability to track and analyze data to improve results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute data-driven coaching strategy to support Residents and paraeducators.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support development of BCPS paraeducators.
• Identify innovations to improve teacher performance to meet goals.
• Contribute to design and management of Pre-Service Training for Residents.
• Design sessions aligned to Maryland College and Career-Ready Standards for teacher development.
• Collaborate with the BCTR team to provide engaging program experiences.
• Support long-term, aligned teacher development strategies.
