Job summary

TNTP seeks an Effectiveness Coach in Baltimore to support and develop Residents and paraeducators within the Baltimore City Teaching Residency (BCTR) program. You will design and deliver curriculum, coordinate coaching, and collaborate with teachers, principals, and district staff to raise student outcomes.

Travel up to 40% is expected. This grant-funded role through June 2029 offers a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Three years of teaching experience with track record of coaching teachers.
• Experience designing and facilitating professional development for teachers.
• Experience supporting multilingual learners or students receiving special education services (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a data-driven coaching strategy for Residents and paraeducators.
• Collaborate with partners, principals, and district staff to support development.
• Create and deliver PST content for traditional and apprenticeship pathways.
• Design Maryland standards-aligned sessions for teacher certification.
• Partner with the TNTP team to provide a high-quality program experience.
