Job summary

TNTP seeks an Effectiveness Coach in Baltimore to support and develop Residents and BCPS paraeducators, shaping curriculum and professional development aligned to multilingual learners and students with special needs. This grant-funded role focuses on data-driven coaching to elevate instructional practice and student outcomes.

The position requires collaboration with partners, principals, and TNTP teams, with travel up to 40%.

Qualifications

• Three years of teaching experience.
• Experience designing and delivering professional development for teachers.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with other adults.
• Experience supporting multilingual learners or students with disabilities (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a data-driven coaching strategy for Residents and paraeducators.
• Collaborate with partners, principals, and City Schools staff to support development.
• Identify solutions to improve teacher performance and culturally responsive instruction.
• Design PST content for traditional and apprenticeship pathways.
• Create standards-aligned, session content for teacher professional development.
• Partner with the BCTR team to provide a high-quality program experience.
