The Defense Human Resources Activity seeks an experienced leader to serve as the Department Head of the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Department within the Education and Training Directorate at DEOMI. The incumbent will supervise the EEO Training Department and direct planning, organization, and control of non-supervisory staff.

Key duties include applying EEO/civil rights laws to leadership, designing adult education programs, and guiding accommodation and ADR processes to improve program

Qualificações

• Applying EEO and civil rights laws to advise leadership on compliance.
• Designing/updating adult education courses and training modules on EEO and civil rights.
• Supervising professional staff, setting performance standards, and resolving workplace conflicts.
• Advising on reasonable accommodation processes and disability employment programs.
• Managing workplace conflict resolution and discrimination complaint processes.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, direct, and organize the EEO training department within DEOMI.
• Provide first-level supervision of nonsupervisory staff in the EEO Training Department.
• Coordinate training initiatives with subject matter experts and instructional developers.
• Oversee evaluation of training effectiveness and update content accordingly.
• Counsel and support staff development and performance improvement efforts.
