Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs electroencephalograms and portable inpatient EEGs with correct electrode placement.
• Prepares patient, gathers medical history, and explains procedures to patient and family.
• Operates and calibrates equipment, adjusts controls for optimal recordings, and documents artifacts.
• Maintains knowledge of Neurodiagnostic tests and supports various EEG modalities as site needs.
• Assists physicians in clinics with NCS/EMG per site requirements.
