Job summary

Chelsea Public Schools is seeking an Assistant Manager of Educator Development & Pathways to oversee recruitment, mentoring, and advancement of diverse educators across CPS. The role leads the Teacher Pathway Program, guiding paraprofessionals, parents, alumni, and community members toward teaching careers.

Responsibilities include data tracking, grant management, and coordinating with district partners to ensure equity and workforce development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Google Suite and digital collaboration tools.
• Experience designing and facilitating professional development.
• Knowledge of data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Ability to travel to schools and events as needed.
• U.S. Citizenship, residency, or work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment, development, and advancement of diverse educators across Chelsea Public Schools (CPS).
• Manage the Teacher Pathway Program (TPP), supporting paraprofessionals, parents, alumni, and other community members pursuing teaching careers.
• Design and implement systems to build educator capacity, mentoring, coaching, and licensure progression.
• Lead recruitment strategies and ensure completion of licensure and milestones.
• Collaborate with district and school leaders to align HR initiatives with priorities.
• Monitor licensure data, reporting, and grant management; support district leadership with updates.
