Job summary

Chelsea Public Schools in Chelsea, Massachusetts is seeking an Intern for the Teacher Pathway Program (SY26-27). The role supports districtwide professional development and assists with administrative tasks and materials coordination.

This part-time, hybrid position offers 10-15 hours per week, including meetings, and is ideal for experienced educators seeking mentoring and growth opportunities within the district.

Qualifications

• Experienced teacher or related experience in education (2-3 years).
• Mentoring experience a plus.
• Passionate about helping educators, including paraprofessionals, receive excellent professional development and grow in their careers.
• Comfortable presenting and supporting adult learning.
• Availability to meet on Zoom or in-person to collaborate with.
• Availability to support with the program 10-15 hours per week, including meetings.
• Work study student preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administrative tasks such as processing applications, fielding questions, and update tracking systems.
• Assist in planning, preparing, and coordinating materials and event attendance for TPP professional development sessions.
• Attendance to collaboration meetings is required.
• Work collaboratively with the Assistant Manager of Educator Development & Pathways, Director and Asst. Director of HR, program participants, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned by an Administrator.
