Job summary

Chelsea Public Schools is seeking an Intern for the Teacher Pathway Program Committee (Districtwide) (SY26-27) to support educator development with 10–15 hours per week, including meetings. Hybrid schedule possible; work-study preferred for qualified students.

The role involves administrative tasks, planning professional development sessions, and collaboration with district staff and program leaders to assist teachers and paraprofessionals.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in education or as a teacher.
• Mentoring experience preferred.
• Passionate about helping educators, including paraprofessionals, grow professionally.
• Comfortable presenting and supporting adult learning.
• Available to meet on Zoom or in-person to collaborate.
• Willing to support the program 10–15 hours per week, including meetings.
• Work study student preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administrative tasks such as processing applications and updating tracking systems.
• Assist in planning, preparing, and coordinating materials and event attendance for TPP professional development sessions.
• Attendance to collaboration meetings is required.
• Work collaboratively with the Assistant Manager of Educator Development & Pathways, Director and Asst. Director of HR, program participants, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned by an Administrator.
