Horace Mann is seeking a motivated Life Sales Representative for a remote role focused on helping educators plan for a secure retirement. You will engage with current and prospective clients, understand their goals, and match them with life insurance solutions that meet their needs.

In this role, you'll handle inbound inquiries and follow up with educators, build trust-based relationships, and strive to meet sales targets through consultative, needs-based selling.

Qualifications

• Active life license is required; health license to be obtained within 6 months of employment.
• 3 years of financial services or consultative sales experience required, preferably within insurance, retirement planning, or wealth accumulation environments.
• Experience in a call center or sales role, with proven ability to meet sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound inquiries and place outbound follow-up calls to educators seeking life insurance solutions.
• Develop trust-based relationships, educating clients on owning life insurance products.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and activity metrics through consultative, needs-based selling.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and company quality standards.
• Accurately document interactions in CRM systems and stay informed on industry updates and product enhancements.
