Job summary

The University of Montevallo is seeking a program administrator to manage data and technology assets for the Upward Bound Project, teach and provide guidance to participants, and coordinate scheduling with instructors and the Academic Coordinator.

You will maintain the project database, run internal reports, plan activities, manage the website and social media, and occasionally travel with students to support program goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Educational Technology, Counseling, or a related field is required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of related experience; education substituted for experience is allowed.

Responsibilities

• Manage project database and update student records as needed.
• Develop and run reports from the project database for internal users.
• Schedule student classes and coordinate schedules with Academic Coordinator and instructors.
• Reserve rooms and assist with technology issues as needed.
• Teach development and academic classes to participants and track attendance.
• Manage UB website and social media.
• Travel with students as needed.
• Plan project activities with UB staff.
