Job summary

Anderson Computing & Information Services (ACIS) at UCLA Anderson provides information and technology services to faculty, staff and students. The Technology Consultant delivers hands-on support, resolves technical problems, and supports video/web conferencing, classroom A/V, and software systems in learning spaces.

The role involves training, documentation, and collaboration with ACIS teams to ensure timely resolution of requests and successful technology deployments in classrooms and offices.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of technical service experience.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to work with faculty, staff, students and vendors.
• Ability to handle high-difficulty customer service situations calmly and efficiently.
• Ability to explain diagnostics and troubleshooting to clients clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support and resolve technical problems.
• Monitor service ticket system, classroom hotline, and email inboxes.
• Operate A/V systems and training for users.
• Research, evaluate, implement, deploy and support technology solutions.
• Assist in classroom and instructional technology upgrades and roll-out projects.
