Right At School is seeking an Educational Support Specialist to work part-time on-site in Imperial Beach, CA. You will support instructional staff, adapt materials for diverse learners, and ensure program quality and safety in alignment with licensing standards.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and 3+ years in youth development or after-school programs. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for success in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 3+ years in youth development or after-school programming.
• Familiar with assessments, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.
• Strong understanding of program implementation, QA, and best practices in youth education.
• Knowledge of safety protocols, licensing regulations; CA ELOP/ASES familiarity desirable.
• Ability to model, mentor, and train staff effectively.
• Experience supporting inclusive environments for diverse students.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support instructional staff and program teams to deliver effective instruction and activities.
• Ensure adherence to safety, licensing, and district-specific policies; monitor safety and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with Area Manager and Impact Team to drive quality improvements and inclusion practices.
• Collect and review student progress data; provide feedback to management.
• Coordinate with program managers to implement district-specific goals and improvement plans.
• Support CA-specific ELO-P/ASES and Heritage licensing requirements.
