Job summary

Right At School in Imperial Beach, CA is hiring educators to deliver our dynamic after-school programs. The role supports school-day learning through engaging activities, character-building, and homework assistance, with a schedule that aligns to school hours.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of experience with children under 13, and a willingness to meet state requirements such as Live Scan, FA/CPR, and health screenings.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a Highschool diploma or Equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• Ability to lift 25lbs and meet state-specific requirements (TB test, Live Scan, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Organize program materials and document attendance, incidents, and observations.
• Deliver daily curriculum to engage children and promote school-day learning.
• Model positive guidance and classroom management to ensure safety and focus.
• Communicate clearly with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
• Meet regularly with the Program Manager for progress and accountability.
