Job summary

Right At School is seeking an Educational Support Specialist to support students with instructional activities, behavior management, and inclusive practices. The role partners with curriculum and leadership to maintain safe, compliant, and engaging programs on-site in California.

Preferred candidates have a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in youth development or after-school programming, with strong communication and collaboration skills to work with schools and families.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in youth development, after-school programming, or related field.
• Familiarity with assessments, identifying areas for improvement, and corrective actions.
• Knowledge of safety protocols, licensing regulations, and educational standards.

Responsibilities

• Support instructional staff and develop team skills across programs.
• Implement individualized and small-group instruction with fidelity to best practices.
• Ensure safety, inclusion, and compliance with district and licensing guidelines.
• Collect and report student progress data to area managers.
• Collaborate with Area Manager and Impact Team on improvement plans.
