Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a full-time sign language interpreter to support students and educators across multiple school sites in Washington state. The role focuses on ensuring access to instruction and activities for deaf or hard-of-hearing students throughout the day.

Responsibilities

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) required
• Previous experience interpreting within K-12 schools highly preferred
• Compliance with state and national certification standards for sign language interpreting
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with students, faculty, and families
• Flexibility to adapt to different age groups, classroom settings, and levels of signing proficiency
